I like the idea of keeping the language more professional in certain settings. Some of the phrases, though not the best of the King's English, do provide some use from time to time and have a home in more non social conscious chit chatter around the water cooler.

Number 9 and 10 I use a great deal myself.


Great summary but they missed low hanging fruit...

How about, "I'm just saying ..." Most of the time, when people say that, they don't say anything behind it. Why say "I'm just saying" if you're not going to say anything.
