Many folks think that the only path to success in a career is an all-out, full-time, "whatever it takes" mentality. There is a time and place to live that approach - and there is a time to focus on other aspects of life besides work. The challenge is to continue to develop and grow as a worker even if your hours are reduced - and it's possible to do. I was quoted in this recent article on the Minneapolis Star Tribune on how to succeed at work even if you choose to work part-time: http://www.startribune.com/198/story/579503.html
I'm just about to finish reading the article. I'm gonna share this to my friends. Thanks.
